Slopes open with gradual preparations
Starting from January 12, 2026, a preparation period for the Olympic events will begin, involving a gradual closure of certain slopes to ensure safety and the smooth organization of competitions.
In particular, the Olympia delle Tofane and Labirinti slopes will be the first affected, as they will host the Olympic competitions.
Later, between late January and mid-March 2026, additional temporary closures will occur on specific slopes, connected to official training sessions and races.
However, it’s important to note that the vast majority of Cortina’s slopes will remain open and fully accessible.
Ski areas not involved in Olympic events will continue to operate normally, offering skiers and visitors the authentic and spectacular experience that has made Cortina one of the most beloved destinations in the Alps.
