On Saturday, September 13th, Cortina d’Ampezzo once again became the capital of Haute Mountain Cuisine during the ninth edition of The Queen of Taste, the gastronomic event that celebrates territory, creativity, and culinary excellence.
With over 200 guests, 18 chefs, and a full day of tastings – from the Breakfast in the Clouds to the Cortina Chef Tour – this edition was among the most memorable ever.
Organized by Cortina For Us and the Chef Team Cortina, the festival combined Alpine tradition and modern vision, in harmony with the Olympic spirit of Milano-Cortina 2026.
Guest of honor was Chef Enrico Bartolini, holder of 14 Michelin stars, who created his special Piatto Cortina as a tribute to the Dolomitic flavors and the bond between Milan and Cortina.
At the heart of the event, the Chef Team Cortina once again showcased the excellence of Mountain Haute Cuisine. Among them, Chef Luigino Anzanello of Ristorante Villa Oretta, who contributed his creativity and passion to a culinary journey that highlighted the essence of local gastronomy.
The Cortina Chef Tour led guests through some of the most iconic venues in Cortina – from Hotel Ancora to Baita Fraina, from Tivoli to Villa Oretta, and finally Al Camin – for a day where fine dining met breathtaking landscapes.
With The Queen of Taste 2025, Cortina confirms itself as the true stage of Alpine gourmet excellence, where chefs, producers, and passion come together to celebrate taste and territory.
